Each year, about 1,700 people are diagnosed with brain cancer in Australia. This includes roughly 130 children.
About 1,200 Australians die of brain cancer each year.

The Cost of Cancer
Brain cancer is a devastating disease that affects so many families in Australia. This disease sadly takes many loved ones away from us and often leaves a dark hole not only in our hearts but in our wallet and bank accounts too.
Our Mission
The Batman Foundation was created to assist families experiencing financial hardship caused by brain cancer treatments.
We aim to help families cover out of pocket costs of treatments, side effect medications and any miscellaneous costs such as travel, child care, hospital parking, specialist appointments and anything in between.
